The map from which this photograph was taken is in the Archives of the American Museum of Natural History's Library. Photograph was taken by Julius Kirchner.

This trip was undertaken by Arthur S. Stannard and Col. J.B. Dodge in Jan.-Feb. 1921, and was thought to be the first time that it had been done in its entirety.
